The main score is on-time performance: on-time trips divided by measured trips, times 100. A trip counts as on time when the MyRide forecast is within the on-time window you select (±1–5 or ±10 minutes; default ±2). Agencies pick different cutoffs. This uses predicted times, not confirmed bus departures. Only departures with at least one MyRide realtime observation are included.
Planned routes and times come from North Bay Transit’s published GTFS schedule. Live arrival estimates and cancellations come from MyRide, the city’s realtime bus info system. We compare those realtime estimates to the schedule to measure delay. Departures without realtime MyRide data are excluded.
This is a personal project and isn’t run by the City of North Bay or North Bay Transit. MyRide times are forecasts, so they can be wrong or disappear. For trip planning, use the official transit apps and schedules.
